Our distinguished panel of experts will examine key technologies and web trends to highlight thought provoking issues for future business strategy.  Our panel comprises:

n  Nic Brisbourne, Partner at technology focused venture capital firm DFJ Esprit

n  Charles Black, CEO and founder of cloud computing provider and AIM listed Nasstar Plc

n  Gareth Kershaw, a seasoned technology journalist who is editor of Insight Quarterly and writer for The Times

n  Nigel Miller, Partner in Fox Williams’ ebusiness team specialising in technology and web related legal issues

The first panel session will be on “cloud computing”.  We will consider the concept of the “cloud“ as a business application and discuss the relevant business and legal issues around using the “cloud”.   Our second session will be on monetising the web.  During this session, we will consider the arguments in the paid v free debate and look at how we see revenue
models for the web developing.

                               and how businesses can take advantage of it, followed by a discussion 
                               on the relevant business and legal issues  

10.20 – 10.40am       Coffee and Networking

10.40 – 11.20am       Panel session 2: Monetising the web; how will revenue models develop?
                               Introduced by Nic Brisbourne 

                               In this session, Nic Brisbourne will outline the arguments of paid v
                               free and how revenue models for the web are developing, followed by a
                               discussion on the relevant business and legal issues  

11.20 – 11.30am       Panel’s predictions and key areas of growth for the future
